D'Addario Reed Guard - Alto and Soprano Saxophone

D'Addario Reed Guard - Alto and Soprano Saxophone

A stylish and effective way to keep your reeds safe and secure

Our reed guard products offer a convenient, affordable storage solution for students, educators, and artists. The soft elastomer cover is designed to securely but gently hold any assortment of clarinet and saxophone reeds.

Each reed guard holds four reeds. Grooved surfaces prevent reed warping.

Available in two sizes: Small (Bb Clarinet, Soprano & Alto Saxophones), and Large (Bass Clarinet, Tenor & Baritone Saxophones)

Staff Review

Simple, yet very effective! The Reed Guard applies just enough pressure so that your reeds are held securely without damaging them. The tip is also kept nice and flat, so that it dries without warping. Very important for keeping your reeds playing well for longer! Each slot on the Reed Guard is also numbered 1 - 4. So recently I've gotten into the habit of having several reeds on the go, and ordering them from best to worst. That way I know exactly which one to go for if I chip a reed on a gig! - Oren Gurney ([email protected])
